PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The IT Manager at Spartronics Viet Nam is responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective management of the organization’s Information Technology function. This role plays a critical part in aligning IT systems, infrastructure, and operations with overall business objectives, supporting growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning:
- Ensure all technology initiatives support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company’s long- term goals.
Operational Management:
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to streamline operations and mitigate risks.
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of systems and infrastructure.
Team Management:
- Lead and coaching the IT team, promoting a collaborative and high- performance culture.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team capability and alignment with business goals.
- Provide guidance and allocate resources to support individual and team development.
IT Governance and KPIs:
- Establish and monitor key IT performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate service quality, system performance, and project delivery.
- Define and implement IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance, accountability, and alignment with business objectives.
Technology Infrastructure:
- Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable to support current and future organizational needs.
- Plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
Information Security, Risk Management and Compliance:
- Lead IT security and risk management initiatives to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Establish robust IT policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and proactively address risks.
- Safeguard the organization’s data and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:
- Develop, implement, and regularly test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure IT service resilience.
- Identify critical systems and processes, and establish recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and simulation exercises to validate recovery strategies and ensure preparedness.
Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and systems to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance IT capabilities and drive innovation.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing return on IT investments.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize cost- effectiveness and value delivery.
- Monitor and control expenditures, addressing deviations from budget as necessary.
