Project Planning/Management:
Ensure that assigned projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting business objectives.
Work with the business to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation of projects.
Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analyses to support process and project improvements.
Manage and coordinate projects through all phases of initiation, development, and implementation.
Collaborate with project stakeholders and corresponding personnel or vendors to define the project scope.
Quality & Risk Management:
Ensure project delivery adheres to international quality standards.
Communicate effectively with the project committee, stakeholders, and key users regarding any potential project risks.
Ensure project delivery meets quality standards set by stakeholders/users.
Identify project risks and develop resolutions for potential risks.
Execute resolutions as required.
Users & Vendor Management:
Closely monitor vendor implementation according to the project schedule.
Negotiate optimal costs with vendors for implementation.
Manage vendor engagement from selection and bidding to negotiation.
Prepare regular, clear, and accurate executive summaries for stakeholders and key users to understand project status.
Engage with key users/stakeholders to ensure user requirements are fully implemented in the project.
Ensure vendors follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with proper testing of deliverables.
Ensure vendors are fully aware of project requirements and deliverables that meet user needs.
Ensure stakeholders/key users are fully aware of project progress.
Change request Control:
Properly reflect changes to vendors and assess their impact on project delivery and costs.
Regularly communicate with users to identify any changes in requirements.
Communicate changes to the project committee regarding schedule and cost implications due to requirement changes. Obtain consent from the project committee for applying changes.
