IT Quality Control Executive (6-month Contract)

Test Planning and Strategy:

Create detailed test plans, outlining scope, approach, resources, and schedule for various testing phases.
Ensure the quality of the software before and after deployment.
Identify test scenarios and cases that cover functional, performance, security, and usability aspects.
Collaborate with business users, product owners, business analysts, development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.

Test Execution and Defect Management:

Identify, report, and track defects in a clear and structured manner using issue tracking tools.
Execute test cases according to the defined test plans and document test results.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

Collaboration and Communication:

Participate in regular project meetings to provide testing status updates and raise potential concerns.
Communicate effectively to bridge the gap between technical and non- technical team members.
Work closely with developers, product managers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the refinement of QA best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing.
Analyze testing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross- functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
ISTQB or other relevant certifications would be a plus.
At least 4 years of experience to proven experience in software testing, quality control.
Familiarity with various testing types, such as functional, regression, performance, and security testing
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Have good knowledge about SDLC and qualify the software quality before deployment decision and after deployment.
Ability to adapt to fast- paced development environments and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of software development, lifecycles and agile methodologies.
