Middle Quality Control

Mission

This role focuses on accurate testing execution, early defect detection, and close collaboration with cross- functional teams, contributing directly to smooth product delivery and continuous improvement of the QA process.
The Middle QC Engineer acts as a quality gatekeeper, helping the team deliver features that meet business expectations while maintaining technical integrity and user trust.
The mission of the Middle QC Engineer is to ensure product quality, stability, and reliability by proactively identifying risks, validating requirements, and verifying system behavior before release.

Key Responsibilities

Support basic performance/load testing execution under guidance (if applicable).
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standup, review, retrospective).
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate closely with Developers, BA, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and ensure quality delivery.
Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
Contribute to improving testing processes, test coverage, and QA documentation.
Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and basic performance across web and API- based systems.
Participate in building and maintaining automated test scripts, primarily for APIs (UI automation is a plus).
Execute API testing (manual &automated) to ensure correctness, stability, and backward compatibility.
Conduct regression testing before releases and support UAT phases when required.

Requirements

2‒4 years of experience as a QC/Software Test Engineer.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Experience testing microservices or distributed systems.
Solid experience in manual testing, including test case design and execution.
Experience with API automation frameworks(e.g.Playwright API, Cypress API, Postman/Newman).
Comfortable working in Agile teams and communicating issues clearly.
Hands- onexperience with API testing (Postman, Swagger, RESTful APIs).
Experience using Git and working within CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Basic experience or strong interest in automation testing, especially API automation.
Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
Good understanding of software testing fundamentals: black- box testing, regression testing, integration testing, exploratory testing.
Careful, detail- oriented, and responsible for test quality and deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience working with cloud- based systems (AWS, GCP,Azure‒at basic level).
Good English reading and basic written communication skills.
Ability to analyze logs, understand error responses, and support root- cause analysis.
Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, or Locust.
Familiarity with CI tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
