IT Systems Support Engineer

As an IT Systems Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Engineer robust cloud infrastructures for internal and client- facing projects base on FWD group cloud platform strategy.
Support the product/project delivery cycle, install/release and configure application system & open source software, provide evidence of security controls as needed.
Translate proposed architecture views into engineered solutions that meet security and data protection requirements.
Join in the implement native, hybrid and multi- cloud infrastructure configuration and development.
Provide the support for cloud resources monitoring and optimization
Monitor and address cloud service issues, scalability, upgrade security controls, and troubleshoot user and FWD Group cloud platform issues.
Provide support and collaborate with delivery teams to implement data applications on FWD group cloud platforms.

Must have:

Scripting background with PowerShell or Azure CLI, Configuration management experience on Windows and Linux
2+ years of overall experience in Linux/Unix server administration, infrastructure setup, scripting configurations and security issue remediations
Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking and security
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in delivery driven team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues
Experience with Azure main components, Ex. AKS, ADF, Databricks, ARM etc.
Experience in deploying and life cycle management of platform services on public cloud infrastructure like Azure Cloud or AWS Cloud

Degrees & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above, major in computer or IT.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of security best practices is preferred
