PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Junior AR Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process by posting transactions, reconciling customer accounts, handling deductions, and assisting with collections. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting, supports smooth cash flow operations, and contributes to effective customer relationship management.
Accounts Receivable Processing & Reporting
Maintain account summary and report to senior manager on a regular basis
Prepare and forward monthly Open Items Reports to customers
Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable for Key Accounts
Post daily deposits for accounts
Deductions Management
Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service, and customers
Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following established procedures
Obtain approval for valid or authorized deductions
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related major.
Experience with SAP is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Around three (3) years experience
Ability to multi- task and maintain accuracy
