We are seeking a skilled PHP Symfony Developer to join our team in building and maintaining a feature- rich, multi- tenant SaaS web application. The platform encompasses business ratings, customer reviews, payment processing, and high- performance architecture. You will play a key role in backend development, system integration, and performance optimization while contributing to architectural decisions.
Backend Development

Design and implement scalable components using Symfony 5.4 and PHP 8.3
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
Integrate and support payment gateways (Adyen, EasyBill)
Manage MongoDB data models with Doctrine ODM
Implement core business logic including user management and rating system

Database & Performance

Support application performance tuning and monitoring
Optimize MongoDB queries and document structures
Implement Redis for caching and session handling

Frontend Integration

Ensure responsive design and cross- browser compatibility
Maintain Bootstrap 5- based UI and support AJAX interactions
Collaborate on React component integration at a basic level

System Integration & Infrastructure

Deploy and maintain containers using Docker with Nginx and AWS
Work with third- party APIs (AWS, Google, Adyen, etc.)
Follow security and internationalization (i18n) best practices

Quality Assurance

Adhere to PSR- 12 coding standards and participate in code reviews
Write and maintain unit tests and technical documentation

Experience with REST APIs, Redis, Docker, and Git
2+ years of PHP development experience, with focus on Symfony (5.x+)
Strong understanding of web security and payment system integration
Proficiency in MongoDB and document- oriented data structures

Highly Desirable

Experience with Doctrine ODM and AWS SDK
Styling proficiency with Sass/SCSS and Bootstrap
Familiarity with high- traffic systems and SaaS architecture

Nice to Have

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Nginx configurations
Understanding of SEO principles and Google service integrations
