Junior Network Engineer

Determining root causes and performing full root cause analysis;
Interfacing with other groups to collaborate and support network change work;
Escalating issues appropriately, accurately, and in a timely manner;
Validating documentation accuracy;
Working with service providers to mitigate poor network performance or outages;
Making emergency network and network service changes where necessary;
Updating, maintaining, and following operational/engineering processes and procedures;
Managing ticket receipt, updates, escalation, completion, and closeout;
Identifying all types of network problems, outages, and impact;
Utilizing and maintaining operational tools to monitor network status and performance;
Administering network services tools;
Reviewing and updating network diagrams.
Performing network issue investigations including event correlation and forensics;
Tracking and reporting status on issues and outages;

Problem solving skills;
Experience with Network Acess Control;
CCNA, CCNP certification or equivalent is an advantage;
Bachelor’s degree in Networking & Infrastructure;
Teamwork spirit.
Experience & Ability to work with open sources solution;
Experience with Next Generation firewall;
Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and Reporting tool;
Experience with LAN and WAN networking technologies (VPN, MPLS) in a NOC environment, with exposure to support multiple network platforms in a 24x7x 365 environment;
