- Manage production budgets, costs, and investments;
- Be responsible for the production chain, giving technical work guidelines, aiming to produce within the established quality parameters, ensuring the gain in quality and performance, optimizing the performance of equipment and processes, preserving the employees’ safety, and protecting the company&039;s assets;
- Manage Human Resources (lead teams, work plans, vacations, training, leaves, layoffs, hiring, maintain discipline and order in sectors);
- Develop and give technical and/or operational training, focused on the production area;
- Manage the production quality programs/standards (5S / TPM, ISO, HACCP, GFSI, among others);

- At least 5 years experience in the Production department from supervisor level
- Knowledge of Activity- specific SAP / R3 system
- Graduated from University majoring in engineering
- Safety and firefighting training, sensory assessment training
- Fluent in English both spoken and written (from Upper- intermediate level)
- Advanced math and computer knowledge are needed to operate production systems
- Read blueprints, understand measures, voltmeters, technical drawings, manuals, and other materials
- Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
- Often on their feet for long periods of time.
