We are looking for a detail- oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Salvia. If you have a strong background in accounting, tax regulations, and financial reporting, and are looking to contribute to a fast- growing international business, we’d love to hear from you!
Salvia is a leading mobile app specializing in Tarot and Psychic services in the international markets. We connect users with expert readers globally, offering personalized guidance and insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Book- Keeping and GL Reports:
- Check all payments and receipts vouchers. Ensure that stipulated and statutory books/records are maintained in accordance with the company&039;s accounting policies
- Ensure proper booking of all transactions related to company income and expenses
- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing, quarterly and yearly corporate reporting
* Tax
- Responsible for quarterly, yearly reporting and all matters related to accounting- tax information to authorities
- Respond to tax enquires from internal and external parties
* Governance/ Compliance/ Controls
- Oversee, liaise and manage the internal and external audit process
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and local tax and statutory requirements (e.g. Investment report)
- Ensure necessary documentation and records are in place, according to local statutory requirements
- Review and ensure internal controls are in place and working effectively
* Banking
- Ensure bank reconciliation on monthly basis timely
- Handle all payments through online banking
- Handle monthly settlements in Wise
- Coordinate with the bank for bank’s credit/debit and transfer from/to the supplier overseas advice- Ensure safe storing of documents and integrity of data control/storing
* Planning/ Budgeting/ Forecasts
- Manage the cash flow for the company to maintain it in the most optimum condition for the achievement of the company&039; s objectives
* Payroll
Through liaison with the HR payroll department:
- Progress with budgets
- Upload the payroll table on the online banking
* Other jobs
- Other jobs assigned by line managers
- Assist other departments for financial/accounting related functions if needed
- Including but not limited to voucher binding and voucher review within the accounting function
- Be the interface with external parties such as banks, tax offices, statistics bureaus, etc

REQUIREMENTS:
* Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in accounting related major
- Chief Accountant Certification is a major advantage
* Relevant experience:
- Good at Excel, especially can make financial statements in Excel is a plus
- Feel at ease when communicating in English
- Accounting software experience is an advantage
- Experience in an IT company is nice to have but not required. We also welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, as long as you’re eager to learn and grow your career in the IT field. Experience working in international companies is a plus.

- Be able to work independently and also as a team member
The benefits:
- Attractive salary depending on your experience and qualifications
- Full salary probation, Full SMUI, another allowance
- From Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
