Proven experience implementing and managing data platforms in on- premise environments.
Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, Java, or Scala)
Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, etc.) for automated testing and deployment pipelines
Kubernetes certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred4- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or software development, with at least 3 years in technical leadership roles
Experience with real- time data processing and streaming architectures.
Excellent system design capabilities with focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
In- depth understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, load balancing, DNS, and network security for distributed systems
Comprehensive knowledge of big data technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, Apache Hive, Apache Hudi and Kafka.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong expertise in DevOps practices including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and container orchestration
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of metadata management frameworks like OpenMetadata
Kubernetes Application Developer), or CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist)
Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including custom resource definitions, operators, networking, and storage configurations
Experience with cloud- based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in addition to on- premise implementations
