Scope of work
Detecting leakages inside vehicle compartments, protecting the vehicle from water leakages that can damage the electronic bays, cabins and trunks.
Ensuring that cars are completely watertight and protected against dust and gas intrusion.
Tightness (gas, dust, water)
Complete vehicle testing.
Assessment of tightness especially with regard to the areas BIW, D&C and Trunk
Test Planning & Execution
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO, SAE, or OEM- specific requirements) for tightness and leakage.
Collaborate with product design, quality assurance, and production teams to define the criteria for leak- proof components and systems.
Design and develop test procedures for tightness and leakage validation of automotive components and systems (e.g., engines, fuel systems, HVAC, body, doors and closure, etc.).
Conduct laboratory and on- vehicle tests using specialized equipment such as pressure chambers, leak detectors, and flow measurement devices.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze test data to identify failure points or potential leak paths and provide recommendations for improvements.
Document and report test results, including failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action proposals.
Provide detailed analysis and insights to cross- functional teams to drive design improvements and ensure leakage requirements are met.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with the latest technologies and innovations in leakage testing methods and tools.
Continuously improve testing methodologies to increase efficiency and accuracy in detecting leaks.
Identify root causes of leakage issues, collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions, and ensure retesting for validation.
Collaboration & Communication
Participate in technical reviews and present test results to internal stakeholders and management.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, and quality control) and external partners (suppliers, testing labs) to resolve leakage- related issues.
Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies for compliance testing as required.
