RESPONSIBILITIES
New opto- mechanical assembly product investigation and development, provide the technical support in new designs and new assembly processes.
Optimization the process and continuous improvement for volume production. engineering.
Provide engineering and technical support for operation department.
Communicate with customers and sales team to provide timely, accurate and professional technical support.
REQUIREMENTS
Initiative to continuously understand and track market and customer trends, collect market information and analyze customer needs.
Familiar with optics, laser, opto- mechanical and other related fields
Bachelor’s Degree in optical engineering or mechanical engineering, physics or optoelectronics or related major is at least. Master’s degree or PhD in optical engineering or mechanical engineering, physics or optoelectronics or related major are strongly preferred.
Fairly strong communication skills
Experience in optical, mechanical, and electrical system integration, assembling and testing.
Comprehend the characteristic parameters, technical difficulties and application methods in optics, laser, instrumentation, and optical communication fields.
Be willing to learn new things, knowledge, and ideas.
Ability to layout / form design of an optical system
Be able to simulate and analyze optical, mechanical, and thermal performance using with commercial software or numerical calculations.
Ability to analyze and solve problems and be able to propose targeted and feasible solutions and improvement plans according to different problems.
Familiar with testing methods and testing equipment of optical products
7+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years and a master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD, related working experience in optoelectronics mechanical module/system or related fields of R&D.
Proficient in English writing and speaking.
Familiar with design of optics and opto- mechanical system, using software such as ZEMAX, Code V, SolidWorks
