Legal Manager

• Build up and implement internal policies, including but not limited to code of conduct and contract management system for the Vietnam operation, in a manner consistent with the group.


• Provide high quality legal services and ensure that legal advice is practical and legally defensible.


• Be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and/or modifying contracts and other legal documents.


• Advise on and manage the procurement and renewal of all necessary business, corporate and other licenses and permits.


• Deal with disputes and litigation cases with assistance of external counsels.


• Handle inquiries and investigations by various government agencies. Develop and maintain working relationship with key government agencies.


• Participate in all kinds of commercial negotiations and transactions, in relation to M&As, asset acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, etc.


• Manage and supervise the Vietnam legal team and be part of the operation decision-making process.


• Fulfill with local and international compliance requirements, including those of AML, FCPA, data privacy, etc.


• Report to the country CFO, liaise and collaborate with legal teams of the headquarter or other regions to ensure completion of various targets of the group.

• Recognized law degree in Vietnamese law, from a reputable law school.


• Strong ability to communicate in writing and verbally in Vietnamese and English.


• At least 7 years’ experience in one or more company legal departments and reputable law firms, or company legal departments only. This should include at least 3 years of experience working as an in-house, with the management experience of a legal team.


• Integrity, teamwork spirit, being responsible and able to work under pressure.


• Vietnamese Bar admission is optional but will be an advantage.


• Logistics related working experience is a plus.
