Legal Officer

Be responsible for all corporate matters include licensing, contract management, IP, policies, tax etc.

Contract management: support the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts that minimize risks and maximize legal rights of the company.
Due diligence for M&A deals (including negotiation, drafting, and review M&A instruments).
Obtain all necessary required license, approval, permits from competent authorities for business operation, IP registration/protection.
Litigation management.

Minimize legal risks relating to company’s business operations

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and ethical standards and highlighting when these are at risk of being breached.
Provide legal training to other departments as instructed by General Counsel.
Participate/design/review and implement legal policies and procedures.
Stay up- to- date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect company business.

Acting as business and legal consultant regarding business/corporate planning/structure and strategic decision- making

Legal research and other tasks as instructed by the Senior Legal Officer from time to time.
Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice to other department on a variety of legal topics that relate to the daily business operation/products or services under the supervision of the Senior Legal Officer.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
At least 3 years of experience in legal field (as in- house counsel or associate at a law firm)
Bachelor’s degree in Law (graduated from HCMC Law University)
Ability to research and analyze the regulation
Strong command of English both written and spoken and possesses strong drafting skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively to a diverse audience, and to explain complex regulatory legislation and principles
