Legal Team Lead

About the Role
We are seeking Legal Team Lead with 5- 8 years of professional experience to join our Legal Team at Timo Digital Bank. In this role, you will work closely with business units to review commercial arrangements, provide legal guidance on compliance matters, and oversee corporate governance to ensure alignment with internal policies and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with internal teams (growth, business, operations, finance, customer engagement, etc.) to provide legal input on deals, business initiatives, projects, and promotional campaigns.
• Provide legal support in specialized areas such as banking products, data protection, personal data compliance, labor matters, and other relevant domains.
• Organize and maintain legal documentation and records.
• Handle (or coordinate with external counsels to handle) licensing procedures to ensure the company’s licenses remain valid and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters related to the company’s operations and transactions.
• Perform other legal tasks as assigned by the line manager.
• Monitor and ensure contracts, agreements and/or other papers are executed by duly authorized representatives.
• Keep updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company’s business.
• Draft, review, and support negotiation of various legal documents, including commercial agreements, service agreements, NDAs, terms & conditions, etc.
• Oversee and anticipate corporate governance tasks to ensure compliance with legal and internal procedures, including preparing Board and Shareholders’ documentation and circulating required announcements to Shareholders upon the occurrence of any shareholder- level matters.
