Logistics Manager (Manufacturing)

Responsible for overseeing and managing the warehouse operations and Import/Export function within manufacturing sites including :

Importing and Exporting:Ensure customs declaration and cargo delivery complying with standards. Coordinate the efficient and on- time distribution of finished products to customers through forwarders.
Cost Control:Monitor and control logistics costs, identifying cost- saving opportunities and optimizing operational efficiency.Prepare and manage logistics budgets.
Inventory Management:Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.Implement inventory control and management strategies to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Material Handling and Warehousing:Oversee material handling and transporting among warehouse facilities.Optimize warehouse layouts and space utilization for efficient material storage.
Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency- enhancing strategies.Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to drive improvements.
Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards and customers requirements.Enhance safety mindset for the whole team in daily warehouse operations.
Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, including warehouse leaders, staffs, drivers, and other support personnel.Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
Production Support:Collaborate with production teams to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted flow of materials for manufacturing processes.Monitor production schedules and adjust warehouse operations as needed to meet production targets.

Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Several years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, with a proven track record in manufacturing operations.
Bachelor&039;s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in logistics.
