What You’ll Be Doing:
Logistics Execution:
● Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
● Monitor and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
● Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
3PL Management:
● Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance against agreed- upon KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues proactively.
● Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements related to 3PL operations.
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
● Identify, evaluate, and select suitable 3PL partners based on cost, service quality, and strategic alignment.
● Negotiate and manage 3PL contracts, ensuring clear service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations.
E- commerce Fulfillment:
● Develop and manage efficient fulfillment processes for e- commerce orders, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
● Integrate e- commerce platforms with warehouse management and shipping systems.
Provision of 3PL Services to Customers:
● Oversee the provision of warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to 3PL clients, ensuring service levels are met.
● Manage billing and invoicing for 3PL services provided.
● Onboard and manage relationships with customers utilizing our 3PL services.
● Develop customized logistics solutions for 3PL clients based on their specific needs.
Warehouse Management:
● Plan & manage resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to optimize utilization
● Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and movement of goods. (including e- commerce and 3PL client inventory).
Transportation Management:
● Track and analyze transportation costs and performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.
● Manage relationships with transportation providers, negotiating rates and service agreements.
● Plan and optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of goods.
Team Leadership and Management:
● Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the operations team and with other departments..
● Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a positive and high- performance work environment.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
● Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer satisfaction.
● Identify and analyze operational challenges, developing and implementing effective solutions.
