What we need: Vinschool is seeking dynamic, experienced, professionally certified teachers to join our international teaching team. Successful applicants will teach the Cambridge Secondary Computer Science Programme, following the relevant Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. They should be suitably qualified and experienced, fully committed to supporting students through both curricular and extracurricular activities.
About the Programme: The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is an integrated bilingual program that offers teaching and learning across the frameworks of the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes of study.
Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials; manage and update information on the LMS.
Deliver high- quality subject- specific instruction according to the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours per week.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal or Lead Teacher.
Develop and implement remedial programs for students requiring additional assistance.
Establish and maintain classroom expectations; monitor student behavior and social development.
Assess and monitor student academic progress; provide timely feedback and support.
Plan and contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.
Perform homeroom teacher responsibilities as assigned, including monitoring attendance, pastoral care, and communication with parents; an allowance is allocated for this responsibility.
Maintain and track student academic records, including timely updates of test results in the school’s systems and preparation of student progress reports.
Supervise students during non- class times, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other school supervision duties as assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
Although the teacher‘s core teaching responsibility is their subject specialization, they may be allocated a second subject within their competency to support the school‘s program.
Qualifications:
Professional Teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree.
Education Degree in a relevant field
Experience:
Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is desired but not essential.
2 years of professional experience (acquired after obtaining a teaching qualification) in instructing subjects within a formal school environment.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 fluency).
Soft Skills and Characteristics:
Adaptable, patient, flexible, devoted, and a positive outlook.
Strong presentation, communication, problem- solving, and critical thinking skills.
Competency in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
