Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy for a new e- commerce marketplace. This role involves working closely with the product and business development teams to ensure that the marketing efforts align with the company’s objectives and brand vision. The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing team, coordinate campaigns, and drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through various online and offline channels.

Strategic Planning & Execution
Align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and product development milestones.
Design and implement marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement.
Develop and execute the marketing strategy to support product launch, growth, and market penetration.
Team Leadership
Manage team performance through setting clear objectives, regular evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
Build and lead a small but highly efficient marketing team, overseeing roles such as digital marketing, content creation, and market research.
Budget Management
Monitor spending and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
Plan and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for various marketing channels.
Digital Marketing & Performance
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media campaigns, and paid advertising.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing efforts and provide data- driven insights for improvement.
Market Research & Consumer Insights
Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor strategies, and growth opportunities.
Use insights from market research to shape marketing strategies and ensure product- market fit.
Brand Development
Develop a strong brand identity for the e- commerce marketplace, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual design across all marketing channels.
Collaborate with the design team to create impactful visuals and marketing materials.
Cross- functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between the marketing team and other departments to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
Work closely with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and consistent messaging.
User Engagement & Retention
Develop strategies to engage and retain users, using customer feedback and analytics to optimize the user journey.
Plan and execute loyalty programs, promotions, and partnerships that align with the company’s goals.
