Our client is a prominent US company in the fintech and payments industry, seeking a seasoned Managing Director to help expand their footprint in SEA.
Please note that this position is also being opened to applicants from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, financial institutions, and business partners, to navigate the complex payments and fintech ecosystem effectively.
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of corporate governance.
Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainability through prudent management and strategic investments.
Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and business plan for the Southeast Asian market, aligning with regional and global objectives.
Lead and inspire cross- functional teams, ensuring the delivery of innovative payment solutions and exceptional client experiences.
Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks, positioning the company as a leader in digital payments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master&039;s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
Fluency in English is required- proficiency in other Asian languages is a significant advantage.
Previous technical/product background will be a huge plus.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Minimum 10- 15 years of progressive experience in the fintech/payments industry, with a strong track record of leadership in volatile high- growth environments.
Comprehensive understanding of the fintech ecosystem in SEA, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
