We are seeking a Manufacturing Business Coordinator to take charge of business development and client management for Weddingbook’s wedding gown production unit. This role serves as a key bridge between our internal teams and external partners—especially Japanese clients—and plays a direct role in nurturing long- term relationships and expanding our B2B business pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with internal teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and timelines.
- Translate and interpret Japanese during meetings, visits, and written communication.
- Coordinate showroom visits, buyer delegations, and business meetings.
- Attend casual business meals and informal meetings with partners to build rapport and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Support the Head of Manufacturing in managing and maintaining relationships with international partners and B2B clients (primarily Japanese)
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, order updates, and business correspondence.
- Prepare quotations, business proposals, reports, and post- meeting summaries.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common productivity tools.
- Strong interest in and motivation to build a career in business support and B2B client management (Japanese clients) in the bridal fashion and garment manufacturing industry.
- 1 to 3 years of working experience in a Japanese company.
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willing to attend evening gatherings or dinners for business purposes.
- Strong ability in drafting professional emails, handling customer communication, scheduling meetings, and preparing business documents.
- Fluent in Japanese (N2 level or higher). English proficiency is a plus.
- Detail- oriented, trustworthy, and proactive in supporting business operations.
