Marketing Executive

• Actively ‘listens’ to guest sentiment on- line and ensure the hotel responds accordingly.
• Assist with arranging media visits and handling of media at the hotel.
• Liaise with Purchasing Department to brief suppliers for production when approval is obtained from all concerned parties for layout and copy.
• Actively identify and engage influencers to share content about the property with their followers to drive awareness for the hotel.
• Maintain and actively update the media database.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Senior Marketing Manager. Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests.
• Develop press releases for the hotel and communicate to media through pitching.
• Works with the team in preparing the weekly/monthly social media content calendar for all social media channels and execute postings.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Work on the concept and execution for the design of any job.
• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive- linking up departments to create sense of one team.
• Create Influencer marketing plan and host Influencers when they are at the hotel.
• Recommend or initiate any HR related actions where needed.
• Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with Department Heads and other inter- departmental secretaries as appropriate.
• Maintain collateral and conduct occasional audit.
• Co- ordinate generic IHG merchandise and hotel brand merchandise, including gift items.
• Proofread copy of advertising, collateral and press releases where appropriate.
• Co- ordinate hotel brand standards collateral.
• Responsible for the in- house point- of- sale materials and collateral such as brochures, presentations, monthly promotional posters, banners and leaflets, and ad- hoc announcement posters.
• Update and improve the website with content where appropriate.
• Execute jobs from briefs in the form of Project Requisition Forms.
• Perform other ad- hoc duties – unexpected moments which may be assigned by management when we have to pull together to get a task done
• Be responsible in keeping the property safe and secure, participating in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.
• Develops the knowledge and skill capability on- property to create a winning competitive advantage to be in Marketing, PR & Communication.
• Deliver Crowne Plaza Brand Promise and Service Signatures to daily work.
• Continuously keeping up- to- date with technological development and improved ways of working and suggesting those to team members and managers.
• Support colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect.
