SotaTek is seeking an experienced and result- driven Marketing Executive focusing on Japan Market to join our SotaTek global marketing team. This role is ideal for a middle level marketing professional who understands Japanese market dynamics, consumer behavior, and local marketing channels. You will be responsible for localizing and implementing integrated marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and business growth.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Localize global campaigns and create region- specific marketing plans.
Manage Japanese market’s marketing budgets and ensure ROI on campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and media in Japan.
Manage local PR, media buying, and event marketing efforts.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to align marketing efforts.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights.
Develop, plan and execute go- to- market strategies tailored to the Japan market.
Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, content marketing, and social media.
REQUIREMENT:
Fluent in Japanese and English (both verbal and written). N2 Japanese is required.
Strong senses of visualization. Medium knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, Capcut, Figma is a HUGE plus. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within a marketing team.
3+ years of marketing experience with a strong focus on the Japanese market.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and marketing automation platforms. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools.
Knowledge of Japanese culture, media landscape, and consumer behavior is essential.
Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in Japan.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (or equivalent work experience).
