Sales
Visit existing and potential customers; follow up actions
Elaborating sales budgets for production, MRP and General Management; Analysis of deviations (if any)
Clearly Communicate customer requests for order procedure/delivery to corresponding Departments
Prepare and maintain price lists and make available to Customer Service
Check the viability of sales contracts
Establish clear instructions/strategies for customer service responsibilities to support customer & sales
Screen market developments in terms of prices, technologies and competition; include in weekly management report
Provide and prepare technical info, product literature and sales tools (update these items)
Monitor credit limits and trace down overdue payments
Set and communicate objectives for trade partners
Establish and cultivate close ties with machine suppliers, co- suppliers and end users (industrial buyers)
Monthly status reports being presented in management meetings
Technical Service
Provide all relevant technical data of customers’ coating equipment to R&D for proper development support
Organise/conduct training of customers’ operators on- site or at Techno’s technical lab
Assure appropriate technical support to customers; organise and request reasonable resources
Pass sample requests and deadlines to the technical department (for coated samples) or to production (for liquid samples)
Provide proper samples for colour matching to the technical department
Provide all relevant technical data of customers’ coating equipment to R&D for proper development
Administration of QA- tools for line assessment
Assure appropriate conduct and filing of visit and trial reports
Preparation and testing of samples for customers in the technical lab
Include relevant technical data/events/findings in the monthly management report
Business Development
Defining and budgeting new target accounts and target markets (countries) in collaboration with the General Director
Business development status reports to be included in the monthly management report
Account management of target customers, embracing the following responsibilities:
- Introduction of Line Managers/Technicians
- Consolidation of Products
- Planning/Designing of Coating Process (if required)
- Elaborate Quotations
- Conduct Industrial Trail and/or (Line- ) Commissioning
- Company & Technology Introduction
Product Development
Induce “customer integration” in development projects
Collaborate in defining long- term R&D projects geared to give Techno a technological edge
Assist in these development projects in collaboration with the responsible development chemist
Define/assign clear product & process development objectives in collaboration with the Technical Director
Include relevant technical data/events/findings in the monthly management report.
