Material Control Supervisor

Monitor daily delivery schedule for suppliers to arrange shipments on time. Make sure no shortage for production planning.
Release and manage Raw materials purchase orders, Customs declaration, Production MI,... other operation tasks to meet Customer&039;s Demand.
Lead a team complete a special task, KPI or requirement from managers
Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes that affect material plans.
Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
Supplier capacity control. Identify delivery risk up front (such as suppliers’ capacity, manpower, raw materials, tooling capacity and 2nd level supplier’s risk) and resolution to ensure suppliers on time delivery. Escalate to manager for solutions and updates for any material supply risk.
Other tasks from managers.
Improvement for material control such as Lead Time reduction, supplier OTD (on time delivery) improvement etc.

Education
Degree in business, planning, inventory management, or a related field
preferred.
Experience
Knowledge Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Functional Skills
- Good oral and written communication in English.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Be good at Microsoft Office, such as Excel, especially for all related excel operate formula. Best familiar with Oracle system.
- Communicate in Chinese is a plus.
