Material team leader

Manage material quality:
Develop and implement quality control procedures for raw materials.
Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding material quality standards.
Analyze material test results and identify potential issues.
Support product development:
Calculate material consumption for production planning.
Select appropriate materials based on product specifications and performance requirements.
Understand garment maker requirements and patterns.
Optimize supply chain:
Manage material inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow.
Oversee material shipment logistics and payment terms.
Understand and utilize ERP or similar data systems for material management.
Team development:
Foster a collaborative and results- oriented work environment.
Coach and train team members on material quality control procedures and best practices.

Strong understanding of textile structures, physical & basic chemical testing processes (including RSL).
Fluent English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
University degree in Textile Technology or a related field.
Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in sportswear apparel product development with a team of 6- 10 members.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem- solving skills.
