MECHANICAL TESTING ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage destructive and non- destructive testing equipment for various automotive functional parts such as stabilizers, wheels, and roll cages, including work instructions, troubleshooting, verification and calibration of equipment, and overall test center workflow.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures or production issues.
Collaborate with quality engineers to align testing with control plans, poka- yoke requirements, and IATF standards.
Develop test plans and procedures for mechanical components, to evaluate strength, fatigue, and performance.
Perform ad- hoc testing for abnormalities identified during inspections.
Conduct mechanical tests, including tensile, compression, fatigue, and vibration tests, using specialized equipment.
Verify and combine data for weekly reports, ensuring accuracy for submission to quality and production teams.
Analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, or non- conformities, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and customer specifications.
Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including photo documentation for cut parts or failure investigations, to support quality audits and IATF compliance.

Good English communication.
2- 3 years of experience in mechanical testing, preferably in the automotive, mechanical, furniture industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Good problem- solving skills and attention to detail for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Good Microsoft Office user skills.
