Role Overview:
This role bridges creative development, production management, and business execution, requiring both strategic coordination and hands- on leadership. You’ll collaborate with artists, creative teams, vendors, and cross- functional partners to ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and operational excellence.
As Merchandise Production Manager, you will lead the end- to- end development and execution of all physical merchandise initiatives under MFan — including artist merchandise, fandom products, physical albums, and special brand collaborations — across MMusic’s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandise Planning & Development
Build merchandise production plans, including budgeting, costing, pricing, MOQ, margin targets, and production timelines.
Oversee product sampling, packaging design, and prototype approvals to ensure alignment with creative direction.
Collaborate with creative, artist, and marketing teams to define merchandise concepts aligned with brand and campaign direction.
Vendor Sourcing & Management
Negotiate pricing, production timelines, and quality standards.
Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams for contracts, purchase orders, and payment processes.
Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for printing, apparel, packaging, and specialty goods production.
Production & Quality Control
Deliver final post- production reports on cost, efficiency, and feedback.
Ensure all products meet internal quality, safety, and brand requirements.
Establish and enforce QC checklists, conduct inspections, and manage defect reports.
Supervise the full production process, from sampling to mass production and delivery.
Logistics & Fulfillment
Support pre- order and limited edition sales operations, including packaging, shipping, and pick- up experiences.
Track inventory, cost performance, and fan feedback for continuous improvement.
Work closely with logistics and fulfillment partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery for online and offline sales.
Cross- Functional Collaboration
Maintain consistent creative storytelling and brand integrity across all product lines.
Coordinate with internal teams across MMusic — including Creative, Artist Management, Brand Partnership, and Operations — to ensure merchandise aligns with overall brand and business objectives.
