Mid/Senior Java Engineer (AWS, Eng)

We are looking for Mid/Senior Java Engineer for The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC), which is based on the Commerce platforms of the well- known hotel portal businesses of HRS.de and HOTEL.DE that transform into much more than “just” a platform: BTC provides its members, individual business travelers, and SMEs, with a distinct range of exclusive services, which shape tomorrow´s safe, sustainable and upgraded travel experience. The primary purpose of BTC is to create loyalty between HRS and its customers. We envision a Prime- like system for Business Travelers, where members get on “golden handcuffs” in exchange for superior benefits and services. Thus, the Club and its products play an important role in HRS´s DACH strategy as it revolves around disruption of the interplay between hotel and workplace supply and e- commerce and domination of the Business Travel DACH market.
Challenges:

Promote high quality aimed at areas such as security, reliability, testability, and maintainability
Create solutions for our biggest clients like Amazon, Google, and Siemens
Work closely with our Product Owners, Product Head, Team members, and DevOps to ensure continuous delivery of high- quality solutions to our clients
Drive innovation by contributing new ideas for our processes, tools, and technologies
Collaborate across teams with regards to overarching technical concepts and practices

Yêu cầu công việc

Strong knowledge of modern software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices. Understanding of micro- service and serverless architectures.
Experience in developing/deploying solutions to AWS Cloud
3+ years of proven hands- on Java Software Development experience
Experience designing and developing Restful APIs
Experience with cloud- native data stores and data processing systems
