Senior Software Engineer Java, AWS, GenAI

We are seeking a pivotal team member for Katalon TrueTest, an innovative AI- augmented test automation solution designed to automatically discover, model, generate, and maintain user- journey test cases. TrueTest streamlines the test generation process, significantly saving time and enhancing testing efficiency by leveraging real user behavior to create relevant regression tests.
As Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing this flagship tool, contributing to its evolution and ensuring it meets the needs of our users. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the product manager and team to develop and enhance the product&039;s new features in addition to utilizing Generative AI technology.
Develop and review code that meets the development standards for code style, design patterns, readability, and maintainability and integrates best practices for scaling.
Identify and contribute to internal engineering working groups to define and build internal libraries, tools, and frameworks for reusability and centralize practices across.
Provide support to end- users, addressing issues and ensuring a smooth user experience.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to support customer requests.
Identify areas for improvement within the existing codebase and suggest solutions to improve.
Support automation QAs and product specialists to maintain the demo system and write scripts using new Katalon features, to test applications.
Work with peer engineers to grow the technical accountability of the system to ensure release product quality, security, and performance.
Utilize Code Pilot to increase development efficiency and quality by automating repetitive tasks and identifying potential bugs or issues early on.
Perform detailed technical analysis and design to break down the feature based on the high- level design and business requirements.

Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Skilled in testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
Solid experience with Java programming and a strong foundation in J2EE specifications such as CDI, JPA, and JAX- RS.
Proficiency in backend frameworks like Spring or Quarkus and ORMs like Hibernate.
AWS and Big Data:
Hands- on experience with AWS services, especially Big Data Solutions such as S3, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, and DynamoDB.
Knowledge of implementing scalable Big Data pipelines and solutions on AWS.
Development Practices:
Familiarity with full- stack development and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with popular development tools, including JIRA, SonarQube, and Selenium.
Strong command of English, including proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing, to facilitate clear communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Proficient in working with Unix/Linux environments and adept at shell scripting.
