Mid/Senior Quality Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB
We&039;re seeking experienced and talented testing engineers to work on our banking services that serves millions of customers daily.
You will:

Ensure the quality assessments of the deliverables in the squad
Ensure Product/ Software quality

What will you be responsible for?

Responsible for the quality assessments of the deliverables/ user stories in the delivery squad
Have a SDET(Software development Engineer test) mindset of conducting RCA for any defects
Participate in software development process including review of code written by other developers, if required.
Responsible for the creation/ updation of the Test Docs and get it reviewed
Responsible for testing the complex test scenarios.
A QE is confined to a particular delivery squad and follows the scrum model and delivery governance as part of the squad
Responsible for the automation of complex user stories that are part of Delivery Sprint and the creation of Automation Test Suite
Responsible for all QE deliveries across delivery squads of high quality

Degree or tertiary qualification in Technology
Strong programming skills in Java or Python
Knowledge of UI Automation using Selenium, Cucumber, Page Object Design Pattern, Page Factory, TestNG etc.
Work with the teams identifying opportunities to deliver Quality Engineering.
Knowledge of working with various automation tools and/or other comparable technologies.
+ 3- 5 years of quality engineering experience and strong Software Testing mindset.
Knowledge of API/ Backend Automation using Rest Assured, Junit, Mockito, Spring Boot, Cucumber Knowledge of performing testing in different phases of software development life cycle and in CI/CD projects
Proficient in creating/ maintaining Test Beds and Test Docs (like: RTM, Test Plan, Test Strategy Doc etc.)
