We are looking for an ambitious mid- weight writer to lead the ideation concept and copy development on all comms for a leading multi- utility super app and other major brands.
Reporting to WAN’s Chief Creative Officer, and partnering with the Mid- weight Art Director, you will lead a team of junior creatives to conceptualize and deliver work across the entire brand ecosystem.
You must be comfortable working on fast- paced briefs and collaborating with both, agency and brand teams to: Bring that feel- good energy. We’re also here to make this whole multi- utility app easier for our customers. Like, really easy. That means providing an exceptional service and using state- of- the- art tech to do it.
Are you a creative copywriter looking for the autonomy and freedom to influence the fickle Gen Z’s and inspire creativity, interaction and knowledge?
As a Midweight Creative Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for self- managing your time and hitting your deadlines with panache and beautiful prose. You will be encouraged to push our brand forwards and ultimately take us stratospherically with a few nuggets of award- winning work.
We are looking for a well read, topical and up to date news savvy Midweight Copywriter with through- the- line experience and a sharp attention to detail. You are someone who can write both short and long copy in a playful and intoxicating way. But then cut- loose and get conceptual.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
Translate the brand positioning into disruptive and engaging copy across all communications.
Embody the brand tone of voice, challenge its implementation style to maximise engagement and category stand- out by adding your expert craftsmanship.
Act as guardian of consistent tonal execution.
Work closely alongside designers and content creators to ideate award winning content and conceptualise head- turning work.

Knowledge of social and digital formats.
Demonstrate creative/advertising copywriting skills.
Ability to read and speak English (IELTS 7.5)

Have the ability to write and develop our POV, but also respond to industry changes and correct our message accordingly.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong ideation and autonomy.
Proven experience developing brands creatively.
