[Middle to Senior] Data Scientist/ Data Analyst

Responsibilities for Data Scientist

Collaborate with engineers to implement scalable and robust data pipelines and systems.
Develop, test, and evaluate data hypotheses, methods, and models using appropriate techniques and tools.
Stay updated on the latest research and trends in data science.
Analyze client data and business needs to identify opportunities and propose data- driven solutions.
Communicate and present your findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Participate in the entire lifecycle of data science projects, from problem definition to solution delivery, and maintenance.
Lead data science projects as well as provide guidance/mentorship to junior data scientists.

Responsibilities for Data Analyst

Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to the stakeholders
Identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using necessary statistical techniques
Support analytic needs of specific management or governance processes or operational areas
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain derived databases/data systems
Collaborate, support and partner with teams across the enterprise
Contribute to more effective data practice, standards, training, and ongoing updates.
Assist with the creation of regular analytic dashboards using standard tools if necessary
Work closely with data science project teams and process stakeholders to understand business and identify information needs

Requirements Data Scientist

Experience in Solution Design.
A deep understanding of a specific domain or industry vertical (insurance, logistics,…).
Experience in Big Data, cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Be able to communicate in Japanese.
Familiar with working with Agile process.
Have experience in leading data science team.

Requirements Data Analyst

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio
Working experience in at least one vertical domain
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
Proficiency in programming languages like SQL and/or Python
Working experience in healthcare or logistics domain is a big plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills to report findings clearly
Fluency in written and spoken English is a MUST
Attention to detail and accuracy
