Position Summary:
The Mid- Level Network Administrator and Hardware Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. This role involves managing the hardware lifecycle, ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure, and providing support for Office 365, Linux, Windows environments, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Network Administration:
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Hardware Management:
Coordinate with vendors for hardware support and warranty claims.
Ensure hardware is properly inventoried, tracked, and maintained.
Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware.
• System and Security Management:
Conduct regular security audits and system backups.
Implement and maintain security systems, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
Administer Office 365, Linux, and Windows servers.
Manage end- point security solutions and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
Assist in managing and resolving complex technical issues.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, conducting root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Provide second and third- level support for IT- related issues.
• Documentation and Reporting:
Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and hardware status.
Maintain accurate and up- to- date documentation of network configurations, hardware inventories, and IT policies.
