RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Solutions: Ensuring our Sales team receives information and solutions to respond to/on RFQ’s, RFP&039;s and RFI’s (ad hoc and structural tenders) as well as market trends and development
Analyze data to support solution finding for specific logistics challenges and requirements from existing customers and prospects
Mutual visits to existing and prospect customers
Manage cost calculations and solutions by interpreting market trends and developments;
Advise sales management with SLA and SOP projects
Project Management:
Upon demand support on or with projects in the region, country or location, taking into account company’s guidelines, in such a way as to provide the operations organization with the necessary resources and guidance to achieve the objectives
Drive project roll- outs by making complete and detailed action plans
Guard project progress in order to reach set deadlines and targets
Assist the members of the involved project teams in order to create the best possible solution to come to a successful project implementation
Regular feedback to management team on project progress
Steer all relevant resources to start and finish projects
Vendor Management:
Ensuring that the network has the best in class partners in place ensuring qualitative market penetration, taking into account the financial and operational strategy of company
Setup and control of parameters which guard the quality of subcontractors according to our ISO 9001:2015 guidelines and internal quality standards and, where required, steer for improvement
Manage daily operations at key stations in the region or country
Setup and control of cost parameters to ensure profitability of network and operations and to stay within market cost parameters
Issue, safeguard and monitor SLA’s and/or contracts with strategic subcontractors in Vietnam
Implementations:
Ensuring that projects or processes to be implemented are handled in the best interest of company, Customers and stakeholders
Evaluate and, if required, correct these processes and procedures
Monitor and steer implementations and optimizations of work processes and – procedures, guided by the MOP and ISO standards as set
REQUIREMENTS:
Motivated and experienced to work in an international environment. Ideally experience with a US headquartered company.
Willingness to travel and ability to deal with change
Very good knowledge of the high performance logistics industry
Proven track record of Project Management
Service minded team player
Willingness to learn and constantly improve
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
At least 5 years of logistics experience in a similar role
Business fluency in English. Fluency in Vietnamese. Additional language skills are highly welcome.
