JOB REQUIREMENT FOR THE STORE PERSON SHALL:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The store person shall cooperate with the customer’s supply department for parts movements.
The Store Person is responsible to the Line Maintenance Controller for the management of the store.
The store person is responsible for communicating to the LMC, TL or DE parts and tooling issues which may impact maintenance operations.
DUTIES
Maintain logs for the issuance and return of parts, tools and equipment.
Maintain the quarantine locker by keeping a log of its contents and limiting access to only authorized persons.
Continuously monitor customer’s material, tool and equipment for condition. Ship or return repairable components when required.
Perform Receiving Inspections of all parts, material and tools, if so authorized.
Ensure all parts, components, materials and tools are accounted for and stored in accordance with customer requirements.
Calibrated tools and equipment shall be shipped to QSD approved calibration agencies.
Collect and make available Material Safety Data Sheets of hazardous materials
Missing or damaged tools shall be reported to the Duty Engineer immediately on discovery. Ensure required tool and equipment maintenance has been properly accomplished.
Tag, bag and ensure all parts, components and material are protected from the environment. Monitor and control shelf life limited items and records. Expired shelf life limited items shall be quarantined pending disposition.
Continuously monitor office material and equipment for availability and condition.
Maintain logs of segregated inventories and notify customers when reorder points have been reached.
Inform the OM, LMC or TL when tools, equipment, parts and material are removed from service.
Ensure calibrated tools are maintained in serviceable condition and properly stored.
Monitor and record environmental conditions on a daily basis.
Arrival and Departure Kits shall be inspected at issuance and again on return.
Continuously monitor company material, tools and equipment for availability and condition.
Other Responsibilities
Conduct an incoming inspection on parts and/or materials to be used by the SAAM Repair Station, including:
Registering components and material data into register or computer system or other management software provided by the customer.
Performing the incoming inspection and tagging for aircraft components removed from A/C or from their NHA.
Controlling the storage and release of aircraft components and material to aircraft maintenance.
Other tasks assigned by DyOM of station/ Quality department.
Performing the incoming inspection, acceptance and tagging of aircraft components and material.
