Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will protect the interests of the Landlord and the Tenants in the Thiso Mall ensuring the safety and comfort of tenants, shoppers and colleagues alike. The Operations Manager will assist GM to oversee all activities of the Operations Department including the smooth functioning of the departments&039; administration, playing a pivotal role in overseeing, co- ordinating, and assisting in the activities of all operational staff. The Operations Manager is the Senior Executive responsible for ensuring the ongoing successful and cost- efficient performance of all functions of an operational nature within the Thiso Mall, including but not limited to security, cleaning, car park management and waste management to deliver international standards of performance & presentation at the Thiso Mall.

POSITION GOALS

Present & maintain all facets of the operational functions of the Thiso Mall to international standards.
Draft and recommend the Operational Department&039;s budget and manage expenditures within approved budget constraints, providing quality solutions at an economical cost.
Build long- term value & efficiencies for all stakeholders.
Provide & maintain a safe, comfortable & attractive environment for all stakeholders.
Foster & promote a sustained focus on stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure the delivery of all operational goals reflects the Landlord&039;s commitment to corporate responsibility & sustainability.

Demonstrate Team Leadership and Client Liaison experiencex.
Professional Certification as required by Regulation / Law.
Wide- ranging exposure to contract management.
Ability to recognize operational problems or potential safety hazards and act upon same immediately, troubleshooting and attending to routine operational malfunctions in Crescent Mall systems if required.
Prior experience delivering board level presentations, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in dealing with high profile clients.
Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both oral and written essential.
Proficiency on software programmes including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, in addition to Building Management Systems.
Ability to monitor Contractor Activity with a comprehensive understanding of the practices, techniques and technologies required in the work being performed or monitored.
Advanced knowledge of Building Operations and Facilities Management, a sound understanding of Budgeting and Occupational Health & Safety required.
Ability to react quickly in emergency situations and make decisions which may involve the safety of others or a significant amount of money.
Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management/Engineering with relevant Operations Management experience of at least 03 years working in a similar position.
