The Operations manager shall ensure that we take the necessary actions to secure Customer Requirement fulfilment and Cost effectiveness on own manufactured/Outsourced products. In a long- term perspective, this will include:
- Relaying the Region and Site strategy long- term objectives.
- Evaluating the needs of our customers / segments in the region and site.
- Drives continuous improvement in Manufacturing, Quality & Sourcing
- Implement and support new products and solutions industrialization.
Job Description
Drive Sourcing as per company business/customer requirement
Drive sites make or buy strategy per product group
Drive Quality to adhere Quality System and customer requirement.
Responsible for Governance of Quality systems, Competetive Sourcing, Direct Material, Direct Labour and Operating expenses to support the overall company profitability requirements.
Drive continuous improvement (efficiency, capacity, automation, Active sourcing improvements)
Support and Execute Group initiatives.
Define and monitor manufacturing/Sourcing/Quality/H&S KPI ́s
Create and implement site operations (manufacturing) excellence plan, including H&S performance.
Secure a roll out people plan per Blue Color (training and onboarding together with HR function)
Secure site smooth introduction of new products and solutions
Drive an increased focus in sustainability in manufacturing, Sourcing & Quality
Implement market best practices, production technologies- Propose and define machinery technology and suppliers to own manufactured product lines.
Machinery Investment plan creation and follow up.
Required working experience
· 7+ years’ experience in an operations or plant management role.
· Experienced developing Front- end microservices.
· Experience in driving process improvement methodologies.
· Experience from project management and negotiations with suppliers.
· Experience from project management and negotiations with suppliers.
Required qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in relate field
· Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
Required languge
· English in speaking and writing, Vietnamese skills are a strong plus.
Required knowledge and skills
· Knowledge and ability to explain principles of web operation and differences of browsers
· Highly motivated, independent individual with strong leadership skills
· Good quality problem solving and decision- making skills.
· Document Control System (such as Master Control) experience is a plus.
· ERP experience is a plus.
· Excellent office software skills (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
· Effective verbal and written communication in English with customers, suppliers and all other departments within the company as well as Managing Director and Group and Regional Operation Team
· High level of confidentiality

· ISO 14001 /ISO 9001/ISO 45001 knowledge
· Experience in implementation of LEAN/Six SIGMA LEAN Concept is seen as plus
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tools.

· Understand the full cost drivers for own manufacturing products- Good financial understanding.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in reports and presentations to employees, managers and owners.
