Working Time: following Malaysia Time
Working Hours: Rotational Night Shift (It will be scheduled by the operation team and it is mandatory to follow schedule set; cannot choose your shift timing)
Working Days: 5 working days, 2 off days from Monday to Sunday

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The sample of types of calls: Emergency/911, Education, Health Care/ Medical, Insurance/ Banking.
Interpreters interpret verbal communication from one language to another, and act as mediums where language barriers exist.
This role requires a candidate with strong mental capability to interpret as the subject is sensitive.
Interpreters are expected to manage calls from different industries including but not limited to calls from the education industry, health care industry, insurance industry, banking industry and other industries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complying with applicable ethics and standards
Providing interpretations of questions, answers, statements, arguments, explanations, and other forms of verbal communication.
Acting as Interpreter between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities.
Providing parties with clear and exact translations of written materials, and interpretations of verbal communication.
Completion of daily activity logs and other documentation.

Required skills:

Have strong mental health and mindset
Excellent in English (C1 and above) and Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese)

Required facilities:

Internet- Need to have a Cable- Modem or Fiber Optic WIFI (NO Broadband or Mobile Data)
Mobile Phone- for operation purpose (for backup)
Laptop/ PC with Webcam/Camera – for online assessment, training and operation purposes
