PHP Developer (Laravel, Eng) Up to $1500 - Mid level

What You&039;ll Do:

Development of new applications and projects.
Work with projects that already live in production and where the number of users, traffic, databases and infrastructure load is growing.
Creation of API, Backend for mobile, web and IoT applications.

Git / Jenkins / Upsource
PHP 7+, Laravel
Linux preferred (Mac is fine as well. No Windows :)
MySQL / Postgresql / MongoDB / Redis
Nginx / Apache

Who You Are:

Plan your decision before writing the first line of code
At least 3 years of experience in PHP
Understand the complexity of O- notation algorithms
Offer thoughtful and reasoned solutions and implement them with a minimum of bugs (or without them at all!)
You perfectly understand PHP, PHP internals, structures and algorithms, design patterns
Know how to test your own and foreign code (unit tests, integration tests, manual tests)

Preferred Skills:

You know the difference between: "I can&039;t do it" and "I can&039;t do it yet"
You demonstrate vision and planning in everything you do
You are self- motivated, clever, and able to think out of the box
Your personal attitude to learn everyday
Experience working with e- commerce modules (paypal, authorize.net)
Experience working with web- farms & load balancing
Your motivation increases when the challenges get harder
PHP5 OOP, Design Patterns
SQL optimization techniques
Ability to solve non- trivial complex tasks
Having your own PHP framework will be a good plus
Experience working on high- traffic applications/web- sites with huge business logic

Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to analyze your own proposed solutions (and ideas) in terms of ROI (Return on Investment) would be a big advantage!
