Planning & Inventory Control Specialist (Open for Fresher)

This role is to create and administer the production schedule/master shipping schedule for the manufacturing process of a product with supply chain optimization by balancing the capacity, material and resource plan to meet the customer requirement.

Check and follow up the execution of Purchase order (PO) from ordering time to end- user receiving to ensure materials to be supplied on time in full (OTIF).
Candidate must be able to work in US timezone (Night shift)
Initiate, implement and embed improvements to scheduling process and procedures to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer service.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, safety and performance management.
Generate and provide clear and accurate information on scheduling and inventory accuracy performance within all areas of manufacturing.
Provide the forecast of JIT materials to Purchasing.
Reactive to short term changes in the production schedule as a result of machine break- down or material/labor/resource shortfall or customer order/demand change involving relevant stakeholders.
Monitor the scheduling process and update the change to Purchasing or/and vendor if there is any variance in the scheduling process.
Performs other related jobs/tasks as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
Provide capacity analysis and generate production scheduling in line with existing shift patterns and agreed capacities.

Education:

Bachelor&039;s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production, Industrial Management or related majors.

Experience:

1- 3 years’ relevant experience working in Supply Planning/ Production scheduling/ Project management is preferred
Fresher with dynamic in Supply Planning will be trained 100% by US

Skills:

Flexible working time.
Strong knowledge in Data analyst, VBA, Python is an advantage
Fluent English communication
Capable of using planning tools and ERP system
Logical thinking, detail- oriented and analytical skills
Carefulness, honesty, tidiness.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of Supply planning and scheduling
Strong in using Excel and Powerpoint
