About the Role:
As a Procurement Lead, you’ll oversee end- to- end purchasing — from sourcing for store leasing and construction to handling in- house procurement for equipment, office and marketing needs. This role suits someone who enjoys both strategic negotiation and hands on coordination in a fast paced retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing & Development
Assess supplier capability, compliance and performance according to company standards.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams (Retail, Project, Finance, Admin,...) to define sourcing strategies that support both store expansion and ongoing operations.
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for various procurement categories — including store construction, leasing, equipment and services.
Procurement Operations
Manage end- to- end purchasing processes: from request to quotation, comparison, negotiation and purchase order issuance.
Monitor and control purchasing costs while maintaining product/service quality.
Ensure cost efficiency, compliance and timely delivery for all procurement requests.
Oversee procurement for both store projects (fit- out, fixtures, leasing) and in- house needs (office renovation, equipment, materials).
Supplier Relationship & Performance Management
Lead negotiation and contract management to secure favorable terms for the company.
Maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly and resolve any non- conformities or issues.
Market Research & Cost Analysis
Recommend alternative materials or suppliers when beneficial for cost and efficiency.
Conduct regular market studies to stay updated on price trends, materials and service costs.
Review and analyze supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Process Improvement & Cross- functional Collaboration
Contribute ideas to improve sourcing processes and supplier management efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement strategies align with company goals.
Collect and analyze procurement data to identify cost- saving opportunities.
