Role Description
BioTuring is seeking a passionate and talented Product Design to join our growing team. In this role, you&039;ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our bioinformatics platform and ecosystem. We&039;re looking for someone who thrives on designing intuitive and user- centered experiences for complex scientific data. As the product design, you&039;ll wear many hats. You&039;ll spearhead the design process from ideation to launch, translating complex scientific workflows into user- friendly interfaces.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in product strategy discussions and provide design expertise.
Champion user research and advocate for a data- driven design approach.
Setting clear expectations, prioritizing features and functionalities based on their impact, managing timelines, and resolving roadblocks for the development team.
Lead the design process for all features and functionalities within the BioTuring platform and ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and other product stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with user needs.
Manage project timelines and milestones effectively to ensure on- time product releases.
Create and maintain detailed flowcharts and user journey maps to document design decisions and user interactions
Stay up- to- date on the latest trends and best practices in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
Translate complex scientific workflows into clear and intuitive user interfaces.
Develop high- fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user interface (UI) design elements.

Yêu cầu công việc

Proven ability to create user- centered designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor senior and junior team members.
3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on complex platforms, enterprise software, or visual product development.
Strong understanding of design principles, including user experience (UX) research, interaction design, and visual design.
A plus is a background in Biology or a related field to understand the scientific context of our platform.
