Product Committee Secretary tasks (30%)

Coordinate periodic or ad- hoc product review programs as required by PCO
Support Business and Supporting units in implementing the Product Development, Approval, and Management Policy & Process, and Product Committee Bylaws.
Prepare quarterly reports on VPBank PCO performance.
Receive, review, and submit product proposals to the VPBank Product Committee (PCO) or the delegated approval authority.
Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by CRO or PCO’s Chairman.

Manage bank- wide product portfolio (30%)

Coordinate periodic or ad- hoc product review programs as required by BOM and report results and recommendations to PCO.
Coordinate with related units to standardize the bank- wide product tree, ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by CRO or PCO’s Chairman.
Participate in product- related projects (e.g., Internal Document Optimization Project, Product Code Standardization Project) and provide inputs and feedback from a product management perspective.
Independently manage the bank- wide product portfolio.
Develop, implement, and periodically review VPBank’s Product Development, Approval, and Management Policy & Process, and Product Committee Bylaws to ensure compliance with internal regulations, operational needs, and international best practices.

Integrated Product Risk Management Function (20%)

Monitor and periodically report on the performance and risk profile of the bank’s products/services (Risk Trigger Report), identifying trends, issues, and action plans for improvement.
Conduct independent product risk management benchmarking and methodology reviews, and challenge specialized Risk Units on their risk assessment methodologies (credit risk, market risk, operational risk, etc.) and the results of risk assessments for each bank product/service.
Develop product risk assessment methodology, guidelines, and processes for the bank’s products/services, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall risk appetite, strategy, and leading practices.

Implement digitization projects to enhance the efficiency and quality of product risk management, product development and approval processes (20%)

FRM, CFA, or PRM certificates will be a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced environment;
Bachelor’s degree or higher level in Economics, Finance, Banking, Risk Management or other related major;
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and best practices in the banking industry. Willingness to work with international requirements and standards;
Fluency in English (4 skills) is a must;
Strong analytical, problem- solving, and decision- making skills;
Proficient MS Office skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, tools, and techniques;
Knowledge of banking products/services eg. loans, deposits, payments, cards, or digital banking;
Have at least 3- 4 years of experience working in the fields of Finance, Banking, Risk Management, Product Development. Experience working in Product Development/ Product Management unit in banks is a plus;
