Position overview
We are seeking experienced and detail- oriented individuals to join our Production Control team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the timely delivery of our high- quality footwear products while managing logistics operations efficiently. You will collaborate with the internal cross- functional teams and the external stakeholders to monitor production schedules, track shipments, and optimize supply chain processes to meet our customers&039; expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning and coordination of production schedules to ensure on- time delivery of footwear products, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and market demand.
Collaborate with product development, design, material and quality control teams to address any delivery or logistics challenges that may impact production schedules
Collaborate with the Head of Production to forecast and manage the resources necessary for production, including labor, equipment, and raw materials.
Analyze shipment data and logistics trends to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings
Communicate regularly with cross- functional teams and stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status and logistics performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shoe factories, suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in delivery performance
Requirements
Proven track record of improving delivery performance and driving supply chain efficiencies.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
Business level fluency in Japanese or English is required. Additional language proficiency (Mandarin or Korean) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of procurement and demand planning software, with experience in forecasting and managing large- scale production workflows
From 3- 8 years of experience in production control, order management, logistics within the footwear or related industries. Candidates who have worked for Nike, Adidas, New Balance, or major shipping companies are welcomed.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and data analysis tools.
