We’re currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production management within the footwear industry and be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost- effective production while maintaining high- quality standards. This role involves managing production teams, optimizing processes, ensuring adherence to timelines, and meeting client specifications.
What You’ll be Doing?
• Continuously assess and improve production processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor daily production schedules and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
• Manage and mentor sub- units including QC/QA, Compliance & Testing and Planning Teams
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, monitor product defects, and drive corrective actions when necessary.
• Supervise and lead production staff, including operators, supervisors, and support personnel, ensuring they work efficiently and maintain high performance.
• Plan, organize, and oversee the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of footwear orders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to manufacturing practices.
• Ensure production processes are efficient while maintaining product quality, thereby maximizing profitability.
• Coordinate with cross- functional teams (sales, development, procurement) to ensure production aligns with client demands and project timelines.
• Analyze production reports and provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
• Ensure that all footwear products meet the highest quality standards and client specifications.
• Implement best practices for production planning, material handling, and inventory management to minimize downtime.
