Overview of the position
We are looking for The Production Manager who manages the day- to- day operations at our factory to ensure high quality food products and maximum profit for company. She or he is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire factory across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Partners with support functions (i.e. Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, etc.) to meet production demands.
Direct and manages Production resources to meet and exceed all safety, health and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot issues with packaging material suppliers, machine manufacturers and raw material suppliers.
Ensure training/instruction is performed for new employees and effective.
Review the current processes and look for an area of improvement to reduce direct cost and improve productivity.
Drives Continuous Improvement within the Packaging department.
Continuously improve plant reliability, profitability and product quality.
Manages and leads a team of supervisors to deliver quality and quantity of receiving, production to meet customer’s demands on shipping plan.
Compiles, analyzes, stores, and retrieves production data.
Prepare and conduct customer audits and 3rd party food safety audits such as ISO, HACCP, HALAL, BRC.
Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
