Project Manager - Digital Transformation (Debt Collection System)

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the modernization of our Debt Collection System (DCS). This role is critical in transforming our legacy system into a cloud- based, AI- powered, and mobile- first debt collection platform that enhances operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technology background, proven experience in managing large- scale digital transformation projects, and a deep understanding of banking, debt collection processes, and regulatory frameworks.

Drive AI adoption by integrating machine learning models, automation, and analytics into the DCS for enhanced debt recovery performance.
Manage third- party vendors, cloud service providers, and technology partners for system integration and seamless deployment.
Develop and execute the technology roadmap to align with the bank’s AI- first, mobile- first, and cloud- first strategy.
Oversee data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with banking regulations.
Implement Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban to ensure efficiency in project execution.
Lead the end- to- end DCS transformation, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Develop training programs and change management strategies to drive user adoption post- implementation.
Monitor and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with key stakeholders from debt collection, risk, IT, compliance, and finance to define requirements and ensure business alignment.

Understanding of debt collection workflows, regulatory compliance such as Basel III, IFRS 9, GDPR, and PCI DSS, and risk management in banking is a plus.
Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies, with experience managing cross- functional and remote teams.
Strong vendor management experience, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
Hands- on experience in managing cloud migration projects using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and microservices architecture is advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills.
7+ years of project management experience, with at least three years in digital transformation projects in banking, fintech, or enterprise IT.
Proven experience in cloud- based system modernization, API integration, and SaaS adoption.
Background in AI- driven debt collection strategies, automation, and predictive analytics is a plus.
