Quality Assurance Engineer

About the team:
The Product Development team in Vietnam focus on solving immediate needs of Shopee for Vietnam market in 3 main categories: Operation, Engagement, and Partnership.
Our scope consists of products in various sizes and complexity levels, serving both internal users (Shopee staffs) as well as external users (our buyers, sellers, brands and partners).
As a member in the team, you&039;ll be part of an Agile team targeting at a specific category to develop impactful tools / features to accelerate business goals in that area.
Job Description:

Web application validation.
Design test plan, test cases, test procedure to ensure accuracy, stability, and security of product.
Support on building and maintaining frameworks to help performance tests, automate tests and expand test coverage in an Agile development environment is a plus.
Work with developers to analyze and find the root cause of bugs.
Evaluate and clarify product requirements. Participate in reviewing product design and work with the development team to incorporate test ability requirements.
Quality driven and proactive to do what is necessary to achieve deadlines in a dynamic environment with frequent priority and changes.

At least 1 year of experience in both manual and automated software testing.
Strong in functional/non- functional testing:
Ad hoc testing skills.
Test techniques, including Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Tables, and the ability to generate test cases from use cases.
Experience in Performance and Security testing is a plus.
Experience in web, mobile testing, and API testing.
Able to perform all phases of the testing process (requirements analysis, test plans, test cases, test reports, etc.).
Possession of strong analytical skills, with excellent problem- solving abilities.
Programming experience in one of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript….
Understanding of Scrum software development methodology with practices, including continuous integration and TDD.
Experience in technical problem- solving, root cause analysis, and data gathering, analysis, and reporting within a system/software quality assurance discipline.
Experience in writing code to test UIs, APIs, and front- end systems is a plus.
Quick learning of new techniques and technologies.
Familiar with automated testing tools and frameworks for client- server applications is a plus.
